By Dmitry Vasenyov

Moving office can be quite stressful and employees and their families are often left without instructions and directions during the corporate moving process. But some specific guidelines may be given to the employees by their companies and corporations.

Everything must be prepared several months before the moving day as this field is quite unfamiliar for many people. Usually companies continue to operate during the move and only some amount of time may be spent on planning and preparing.

Some amount of time should be spent for preparing and planning the move.

New offices and location should become familiar to you. It would be wise to measure all rooms in the new location and note shapes of the rooms and furniture. You should create a floor plan for individual office space and for all office items such as desks, chairs, cabinets and even plants.

Furniture, equipment, other employee locations and plants should be included into the floor plan and each employee should be supplied with a copy of the floor plan. Also the copies of the floor plan should be posted in the current and new offices.

The employees of the company should be instructed in a proper way to work without delay and quickly during the moving day. They also must pack their own personal belongings in advance.

Instructed properly employees should have copies of the moving tips to work quickly and without delay. And personal items must be packed by each employee prior to the move personally.

Such things like legal documents, money, pictures, fountain pens, plants and other personal stuff should be packed in secure boxes and carried out and in personally.
